Japan: New Play Control Metroid 2 and Chibi-Robo in June

According to Siliconera, Japan will receive the New Play Control versions of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Chibi-Robo! on June 11. No details have been revealed about how the games will be reconfigured for Wii controls, though it's probably a safe bet that Metroid Prime 2 will play similarly to Metroid Prime 3. As for the adorable-housekeeping-robot sim, Chibi-Robo!, it's anyone's guess.

For now, the release date for countries outside Japan remains a mystery, so those who haven't played the Gamecube originals can start holding their breath ... now.

I have not played either of these games. Metroid 2 is obviously going to play like any Wii shooter but Chibi-Robo will be interesting.

They announced Metroid Prime 1 and 2 ages ago, glad to finally see some sort of release date. Can't wait.

I will try chibi robo because I heard good things about it

OOOOH...Metroid Prime 1 & 2 for Wii Play Control? *drooooooooooling* I bet when they have those games out...I'll find my Metroid Prime GC game and the system somewhere in the basement...oh well...bring it on Nintendo!
