Wii Music Sells TWO Copies in Houston TodaySarcastic Gamer writes:
"On a whim, I called Gamestop today, to ask how Wii Music was selling.
The game went on sale today.
"I have a huge stack sitting on the counter, but so far we haven't sold a single one," said an associate at one store.
Intrigued, I called them all. Every single EB Games and Gamestop in the Houston Metropolitan Area, the 4th largest city in the United States. As of 4:30 today, "

I am not surprised at all. Nintendo took the wrong turn with the game and now they are paying for it.

of course it would'nt sell.
If i were nintendo I would make a new wii music with certain intruments..Example drums..Like rock band..it would be cooler.I would put a feeling that youare using drums not just acting it out outside the scrren...
If i had money that is hahahah

I have a feeling that Rock Band was a reason to why Nintendo took a different (And worse) approach to the game.

Well I suppose failure is the mother of success.

yes the second wiimusic would be better than the first one

Or they could ditch the whole idea and start from scratch.

I guess that people in the U.S. are not in to this type of game. Maybe in japan, but i find it quite interesting. This might hurt nintendo though.

Pac-man was actually one of the worst rated games too. When it came out. many Atari fans bough it, and returned it to the stores.

Here is the reception for the game from Wikipedia.......
| Wikipedia wrote: | Wii Music was given a score of A- by 1UP.com, who believed the game has a "surprising depth and flexibility" that rewards players who have mastered the controls. They also felt that the game's four-player custom jam mode was addictive, but lamented the abundance of public domain songs in the soundtrack.[19] GameSpy, who gave it 3.5/5, called the game an "odd duck" and something "more akin to a tech demo or social audio experiment" with little to interest adults, but is simple enough to be accessible to everyone and believed it would be a hit with young children and their families.[20]
Conversely, the game received a 5/10 from IGN, who called the game "a noise maker tied to a series of gestures" and cited "gimmicky" controls and poor sound quality, in addition to a "fundamentally flawed" soundtrack. However, they also felt that children may enjoy the game much more than adults, who they believe may "grow bored of the experience in a matter of hours, if not minutes".

Lol thus why MOST Wii gamers probably won't end up buying this title I keep telling a lot of my friends that by the end of it all Wii Music will end up in the bargain bin with the rest of the PS2 bargain & GC titles XD

It really should not even be in a bargain bin. It actually should be in the free but worthless anyway bin.

That is true, because they know that they can do it if they aim at the right audience.

It is also hard to believe that they are charging us $49.99 for the game.
