Wii ISO LoaderOver the past few months, homebrew development on the Nintendo Wii has literally made some leaps and bounds. Developer Waninkoko once again astounds the homebrew community with the latest work in progress to help turn the console into a virtual hacker's paradise.
A video of Wii ISO Loader was recently released by the developer, showing off how the current build can now load The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess from the Wii Homebrew Channel. It seems that users will soon be able to play backup copies of their Wii games without having to resort to modding their console.

Realy I heard of Wii ISO Loader but not like this
I heard I had to modify my system for thi to work but now that you mention that this is even better for all people needing a back up wii game without buying anther of the same game and then waste money.

The Wii Iso loader was leaked much to the annoyance of Waninkoko. It wasn't a final release, it was still very much in beta stage and now it has been leaked Waninkoko has refused to do anymore work on it. So if you get your hands on it beware that there are still lots of bugs. Some games don't work and those that do have to be patched before they're burnt on to disc. As for modifying your system you will have to install a custom IOS which is a system file. So this isn't strictly safe and could brick your wii. Use with Caution

Well guys glad you brought this back up (lol back-up).
Wiigator has made another version and not using anything Waninkoko made so not a leaked copy. He used the infamous Gecko OS source (A homebrew App that give the user an option to play outer region games on the Wii) and modified it to play back-ups, although they will still have to be patched before burning. Most of the issues with Waninkoko's ISO loader have also been fixed in Wiigators version. But you will still have to install a custom IOS system file. So if you don't know what your doing, don't do it!! You can stil make your Wii a Brick!!
