Nintendo to Host Wii Music PerformanceNothing says Christmas like a busker family rocking out to Wii Music -- well, according to Nintendo at least. And since live musical performances are a staple of the Holiday season (although it's questionable whether or not Wii Music constitutes a "live performance" in the traditional sense), Nintendo is pairing up with a group of street musicians this weekend at the Staten Island Mall in Staten Island, NY to showcase the full range of Wii Music's instrument-simulating capability.
The event will be held between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the 22-23. Nintendo welcomes families and friends of all ages to come and watch a busker family consisting of father, mother and child.
If nothing else, it certainly marks one of the more creative marketing moves in the video game industry -- something Nintendo seems to have a knack for since Wii's inception.

It could get more people interested in the game but Nintendo needs to make the game look a bit more worth buying, instead of making it look like it would only last about five minutes.
