members would not grow !The member List had stoped growing for 2 Days
Is This because the wii points are hard to get and people are just looking for free things that are easy to get.
I guess as much.
When I finish my ad for your forum I would add it as my signature in other wii related forums and some that are not.

Forums don't become huge over night. these things take weeks, months, and years to achieve.
even giving away free wii prizes has it's limits on some people's patience. i've decided i'm not here for the wii points. it's a nice gesture. but i know it's going to be a long while before i can accumilate the points. so, i've decided to be an active member.
i've been the admin of my forum for almost 5 months, and i'm just past 3,000 post. so being just a member, it's going to be double or triple that.
the free points has a nice ring to it, but maybe when members read about the length it may take, may find the trouble is not worth it. you could spend weeks and months posting to either post 2,000 posts, or making 1,000 topics for coins ... or just work a minimum wage job for 4 hours and have the same amount.
like i said, i'm not into the free points anymore. i joined with intentions of talking about the wii and wii only.
it's up to other members to decide why they want to join ... good wii discussions, or attempot for a free points card. like i said, it's a nice gesture, but when members realize there's actually work and time involved, they may not be interested ... and those really aren't the members you want joining your forum, anyways.
members will join ... just have to keep advertising every single day.

To be honest, I didn't care for the wii points when I joined either. It was just a plus.
If you mention it in your advertisement on other forums, may I suggest.. not. That way, you won't get people who just want the points. When they join, they'll find out about and maybe be more excited about it.

that's what i do on mine. i randomly give away 3 VC titles of members choise for 800 points down. and i tell noone in advertising, and members have no idea who i'm gonna choose, or what i'm gonna base my decision on.
