I feel like getting some killer apps for my wii for no particular reason.

This will work in your wii if you have the legend of zelda game in your wii

dont have to worry about firmware

you have to worry about it epe..If you have 3.3 there is an exeption...You have to use the 8th beta

The 8th beta will work whatever your firmware, I would suggest getting that whatever your firmware. You will also need Zelda: Twilight Princess. Once you have downloaded it, you will need to put the Zelda hack onto your sd card in the right save folder (I think it was RDPD for PAL you will have to check) then save it to your wii system memory. Get the Homebrew Channel file and change it to 'boot.dol' if it isn't already named that, and put that on the root of your sd card. Load Zelda and walk Link backwards, this will activate the hack and load the homebrew channel. Voila
