Best songs from a video game?For me it is Endless Possibility and Dreams of an Absolution from upcoming game Sonic Unleashed and Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) , Simple and Clean, and Sanctuary from Kingdom Hearts I and II.

Pretty much anything by Nobuo Uemetsu. Chrono Cross has an awesome soundtrack, as does Parasite Eve
on another note, I really don't think that guitar hero/rock band songs should count since they are actual songs and not made for a video game.
(btw) why hasn't anyone said the original mario bros or legend of zelda themes? those were great!

oldschool game music sounds more like old fashioned ringtones but still, you can tell what the music is, and I never really forgot the the Ninja Gaiden music ever since I played it as a little kid. The songs just kinda stick to you like that

There are not original you know!!! 
and thay all are made by a music artist not a game song like marios theme but more like guitar hero having presets or already made !!!
